I am a developmental and comparative psychologist exploring how our uniquely human social cognition change the way in which we interact with others, feel about others, and feel about ourselves. In particular, I am interested in the way in which sharing mental states with others and creating shared representations shape our social lives.
I mostly do experimental work with children as well as great apes. In addition, I also teach developmental and statistical courses at Utrecht University
